Mischa barton was born the 24th of January, 1986 in Hammersmith, the United Kingdom. The O.C. she played Marissa Cooper a socialite. She appeared also in The Sixth Sense, a suspense movie. The O.C. Barton also appeared as Julie Johnson in Julie Johnson (2001) alongside Lili Taylor and Courtney Love playing the daughter of a woman who is in the midst of a relationship between lesbians. Barton had also a role as a support actor in the independent film Tart with Brad Renfro and Dominique Swain. Nadia Elena Comaneci..........................At the 1976 Olympics a 14-year-old Romanian captured the hearts and minds of the world with her daring and perfectio earning seven perfect tens three gold medals one silver and one bronze. In Romania she was welcomed as a true hero. Comaneci won two more gold medals in the 1980 Olympics as well as received two silver medals. Her total Olympic medals now stand at nine. Comaneci was admitted to the International Gymnastics Hall of Fame and ABC News named her one of the top female athletes in the 20th Century in 1999. Comaneci was married to American Olympic Champion Bart Conner in April 1996. They have one son, Dylan Paul. They have a variety of companies that are related to gymnastics such as Bart Conner Gymnastics Academy. Comaneci also serves on several boards for charities which include her position on the Special Olympics International Muscular Dystrophy Association Board of Directors and Laureus Sports For Good Foundation. In addition, she continues to support dozens of charities within her home country of Romania which includes Romania's Nadia Comaneci Children's Hospital in Bucharest.
